Machinal, performed in the Richard Burton theatre RWCMD. It follow’s the character ‘young woman’ through her mental collapse. I was part of a team of scenic artists working on the show.

Process Work
Photographs taken throughout the making process. The scenic process wasn’t very diverse but it required the scenic artists to work cleanly and carefully to avoid patchiness. The whole set required two base coats, two primary coats and two layers of glaze. The grout lines were sprayed and then painted by hand after all the coats were on the tiles.
